Schools

Schools for the Air Station, Parris Island and Naval Hospital include two DoDEA schools; Elliot Elementary and Bolden Elementary/Middle school. Local secondary schools include Battery Creek High and Beaufort Middle and High school.

Childcare

Child Development Centers (CDCs) are located on MCAS Beaufort and MCRD Parris Island provide safe, nurturing, and positive environments for children 6 weeks to 5 years old. Full-time and hourly care options are available, as well as a part-day enrichment program.

Marine Corps Air Stations (MCAS) Beaufort and Marine Corps Recruit Depot (MCRD) Parris Island, located in the heart of the South Carolina Lowcountry, is home of the Marine Corps' Atlantic Coast fixed-wing, fighter-attack aircraft assets and one of the United States Marine Corps training facilities for enlisted Marines. Situated among the United States most historically colorful installations, it is easy to see why so many enjoy calling Tri-Command home. Directions from MCAS Beaufort Main Gate to Leasing Office

  • Drive through the gate down Geiger Blvd.
  • Marine Corps Air Station Beaufort Building, 1140 Geiger Blvd.
Directions from MCRD Parris Island Main Gate to Leasing Office
  • Head northeast toward Malecon Dr.
  • Turn left onto Malecon Dr. (1.5 mi)
  • At the traffic circle, take the first exit and stay on Malecon Dr. (1.3 mi)
  • Keep left at the fork and merge onto US-21/Parris Island Gateway (5.7 mi)
  • Use the left 2 lanes to turn left onto US-21 N/Trask Pkwy. (1.4 mi)
  • Turn right onto Geiger Blvd.
  • Marine Corps Air Station Beaufort Building, 1140 Geiger Blvd.
